A bit about me

Hi I’m Katy and I’m not your typical personal trainer.

For 20 years I was out of shape. 6 years ago I was 22 kilos heavier. I spent 2decades on the work and commuting conveyor belt. I’m a Mum to a primaryschooler. I’m older than the average PT. I have a physical disability.

I'm proof you can change.

I continue my journey.

I want to help you with yours.

Judgement free.

Fun filled.

Results driven.

Lydia Haddock, 20s

Gym goer, had a PT before

"Katy is an excellent cheerleader. She pushes you and makes things possible that you may have neglected on your fitness journey. It is so nice to have a trainer who actually listens to you, from the little things happening in your life, to which areas you want to work on and need help with."

Jane Dickinson, 60s

Retired, new to strength training

“I couldn’t have imagined feeling this confident or being where I am now in terms of strength. I enjoy using weights—something I once actively avoided out of fear! I feel stronger and more capable than I’ve ever felt, even more so than in my younger years. I’ve also noticed how empowering it feels to challenge assumptions about aging and what’s “expected”of me at my age.”

Gill Cole, 50s

New to strength training

"The positive encouragement is off the scale. There’s never a negative option with Katy; she’s always helping me see things from a different angle. When I have a wobble, she prompts me to think about how I would’ve handled that situation in the past. It’s been a total game-changer. Katy's been where so many of us have been - her drive and determination to help others who have been “there” has made such a difference for me."
